Atari VCS
After a group of investors bought the Atari brand and redesigned the console’s to be nostalgic, but modern, the focus moved to the on-screen user experience. Atari looked to create the type of interaction that paid homage to their legacy while leveraging modern design.
By studying over 40 years of game art, we developed a visual approach that celebrated the rich illustrations and amazing artwork that helped bring those games to life years ago. We also leveraged modern, foundation components to create a simple, but thoughtful experience for the platform.
While these designs will likely evolve before the Atari VCS is in homes, it will serve as a foundation inspiration for the final user experience.
